Vacant Exterior 2005 Mixed Media 22" x 33" x 8" Private Collection, Plattsburgh NY Constructions The constructions were produced through 2004 and into 2005. This body of worked developed out of frustration with the limitation of the rectangular format in painting. I wanted to make paintings that defined their own boundaries. Although sucessful in that search, they were ineffieienct to produce, costly, and lacked the aesthetics of direct drawing.
