Dismantle 2006 Acrylic and Wood 36" x 19" x 2" Plattsburgh Series This is the most refined series up-to-date and contains ideas I will take into future work. These works juxtapose direct drawing with color fields. Conceptually, I saw these two elements working together to express different levels of experience over a given set of time. This series was efficiently and economically produced, and a refreshing change from the constructions. The plattsburgh series was produced during my last six months teaching at Plattsburgh State University. Knowing that I would be traveling cross-country in a car with my work had a direct impact on the process.
